I just PM's Turbo to find out what time he wants us to arrive. Maybe we can put together a route and schedule. Is it better to take 23 or 75? It doesn't matter to me, I think it literally makes a 1 mile diff! Maybe we can set up intermediate meet points.

Received a PM from TB, they are starting the event fairly early. From Ann Arbor it's a 3.5 hour drive. That means it's either get up early or head down Friday night. I'm leaning towards heading down Friday night. Have my reservation for Saturday and Sunday night, may change and add Friday.

I went down Saturday morning last year and it was OK. I live North of Bay City so it was more than a poke. I would rather go Friday but if the bulk of the MI people want to go Saturday and caravan I will do that. The caravan sounds more fun than a night in a hotel room in front of the TV.

The Detroit area pretty much has a designated meeting spot already. So all we'd need to know is where you want us to meet up with you guys and when. We'll coordinate efforts on our end and relay to you.

How many rides do mean by "Detroit area"? Did I miss the thread or is it an off forum thing?

I just tossed Cabela's out as an idea, like I said I will meet anywhere if someone else has already started the ball rolling and is willing to accept more cars.

Upon reviewing the map maybe Bowling Green rest area is the best choice. The Detroit guys will probly be going down 75 and Cabela's would be a little out of the way. Also if we pick up some from the West side they may come across 90.

If someone else has better ideas and/or has plans made and wants to head up a MI wide Caravan just tell me to STFU. I am a better follower than leader anyways.

If it does fall to me I want to have the $hit together here before I start Caravan threads on the big boards and start stepping on toes and pi$$ing people off. :x

Since you've already volunteered to pull this together... How about a couple of different hookup locations. Meet at such and such location, depart the location at x time. I'd personally like as early an arrival as possible, but that means we're leaving early. Even a 10:30a arrival means I'm leaving at 7am, which would kill you :) 23 or 75 make no diff to me, it's the same distance either way, but a bunch of the NE Detroit suburb people will want 75. Also have to consider the 75 construction too.

I'll keep an eye on the caravan thread as to where everyone wants to meet up. I can be flexible.

I just need to know exactly what day everyone is planning the caravan for, Friday or Saturday. From there we can get a caravan thread started.
