turbobuckeye over on the Charger Forums asked me to post this here. Here is the original link: http://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56094
I went down to this last year and it was a lot of fun. This year promises to be even better. Click the link above and get your name on the list.
If any of you guys plan on going and want to start a caravan that would be great. HemiChemi and I met up with the Bowling Green caravan last year, it was fun to roll with a group.

If none of you have ever been to the Columbiu area it has lots to offer. A huge shopping mall (about the size of Great Lakes Crossing) tons of restaurants. Right down the street from the Quaker Steak is a huge arcade with two go cart tracks and other activities for us kids.
Be advised though, the Ohio Highway Patrol still has a budget (unlike the MSP) and one of our caravan got knabbed for speeding. It would be smart to have a couple hundred in cash on you to pay the traffic bond if you get carried away. _________________ 2006 Chrysler 300c SRT8 Brilliant Black |

I met him at one of their meet and greets while I was working up there. I might drive up for this if I have time. _________________

To add to what Skel said, they also heavily patrol their highways with cessnas. If you see white painted bars every quarter mile on the side of the highway, you're in one of their air patrolled zones. I've read a couple articles on how they patrol the highways from the air, and they're very active with it.
No radar and no visible police doesn't mean you're safe... Beware the flying stopwatch.

Well over 100 signed up so far and the event is still 6 months out.
I know some of you guys have been talking about caravanning down. Let's get the ball rolling and nail down a meeting place for the caravan as well as deciding which day we all want to go down.
When we get that figured out Anthony can add our caravan info to the main threads on the big boards and we may pick up some MI LXers that are not aware of this board. _________________ 2006 Chrysler 300c SRT8 Brilliant Black |

It does not matter to me when or where as long as we settle it soon. Last year I met up with some of the Ohio guys at the rest area just south of Bowling Green.
We should figure out a place to meet so nobody has to drive too far out of their way.
Does anyone live South of Dundee? Maybe we could meet up in the parking lot at Cabela's.
We could then Caravan to the rest area and hook up with those guys. _________________ 2006 Chrysler 300c SRT8 Brilliant Black |
